NANA has received a steady stream of contacts from Members concerning notifications they have received from Tabcorp over new applications for lotteries outlets in Euro Garages Australia service station outlets. NANA has received reports there are upwards of 30 or more of these applications in the pipeline in NSW.
NANA is aware that cold calls are being made to Newsagents in NSW and ACT encouraging them to take up an offer to install an Amazon parcel locker.
The General Retail Industry Award 2010 has been varied again following from an application to extend the Schedule X – pandemic leave provisions. The Award was previously varied to extend the operation of Schedule X to 31 July, however under the latest variation, operation of Schedule X has been extended to 30 September 2020.
