The Fair Work Ombudsman regularly issues Information Statements. The Information Statements detail employee entitlements under the National Employment Standards and the latest Minimum Wage and outcome of the Annual Wage Review. The Fair Work Ombudsman also issues a Casual Employment Information Statement and a Fixed term Contract Information Statement.
Fair Work Information Statement
Employers have to give every new employee a copy of the Fair Work Information Statement (the Statement) before, or as soon as possible after, they start their new job.
The Statement provides new employees with information about their conditions of employment.
