Earlier this year the RBA and NANA reported to Members about fake $50 notes that were circulating. Once again counterfeit $50 notes have been found as recently as last week in QLD and this week in NSW after a Douglas Park man was arrested after Police searched his home and located $2700 worth of counterfeit notes along with some other prohibited items. Investigations are ongoing and more arrests are expected but it seems there are still many fake notes in circulation.
