NANA has recently participated in a lengthy review of Federal, State and Territory government engagement and consultations with small businesses and organisations over COVID-19 policy changes, travel restrictions, lockdowns, financial support, etc. The review and research project is being conducted by the Council of Small Business Organisations Australia (COSBOA). NANA is an active member of COSBOA and supports the review and research being conducted as it is likely to positively inform future COVID-19 policy and similar threats to the community in the future.
COSBOA is a peak small business organisation, comprised of more than 30 industry associations, including NANA.
COSBOA has been and continues to be an influential player when it comes to government policy and by being an active member NANA contributes to those positive outcomes on behalf of Newsagents generally.
NANA will continue to play an active role in COSBOA as 2021 promises to be a year of further challenge for all small businesses as we all adjust to vaccinations and a new COVID-19 reality.
