As a follow up to the Fair Work Commission Decision on 28 September 2018 in the “4 yearly review of modern awards – General Retail Industry Award 2010 – award specific penalty rates claims” and as subsequently advised in the Determination which varied the General Retail Industry Award 2020, the third change of the phased in alterations to penalty rates for some employees came into effect from the first full pay period to commence on or after 1 March 2019.
