The Annual Wage Review conducted by the Fair Work Commission resulted in a 2.5% increase to Award rates under the General Retail Industry Award 2020. The introduction of the increase has been delayed for the retail Award until the first complete pay period to commence on or after 1 September 2021. Expense related and other allowances have also been adjusted with the same operative date and include an increase in vehicle allowance to 82 cents per kilometre. Log in to read more
