NANA has been critical that some publisher promotions do not necessarily result in easily reconcilable payments to Newsagents. NANA receives regular reports that Newsagents have not been correctly paid for their participation in the promotion and that returns have not been accurately considered.
As recently as this week, NANA took up the case of a Member where returns of promotional items had not been correctly accounted for by the publisher. The result is that after representations by NANA, the Newsagent is now $750 better off and will receive the adjusted payment this week.
