NANA has regularly reported on progress in finalising changes to the General Retail Industry Award 2020 (the Award) relating to improved flexibility on extra ordinary hours for part time employees. Prior to the changes being finalised, any additional hours over and above those agreed at the time the part time employee was engaged may have resulted in a liability on the employer to pay overtime for the additional hours.
