The General Retail Industry Award 2020 has been varied by the Fair Work Commission to resolve the new restricted classification structure which applies to junior employees. As previously advised by NANA, Newsagents will only be able to employ and pay junior employees in Retail Employee Levels 1 to 3 inclusive from the first full pay period to commence on or after 1 May 2021.
