Following on from the original announcement by Fairfax Media that full copy returns collections would cease in Wollongong and the Central Coast areas from 24 September, NANA negotiated with Fairfax Media to moderate their position. Fairfax Media subsequently offered a “no physical returns” (NPR) alternative to approximately 50 Newsagents in the nominated areas. By working with Fairfax Media, NANA was able to get them to encourage recyclers in the nominated areas to pick up unsold copies at no cost to Newsagents. Log in to read more
