High Court provides clarity over casual employees and accrued entitlements

The High Court of Australia today delivered its decision in the high profile WORKPAC PTY LTD v ROSSATO & ORS case. Newsagents will be aware that the case involved claims by a former casual employee who had been employed under a series of casual contracts that they were entitled to annual leave, sick leave and other forms of leave which would normally accrue to full and part time employees.
