NANA has worked with with several Members to challenge negative site survey outcomes and breach notices issued by Tabcorp/NSW Lotteries. The positive outcomes place Members in a better position financially enabling them to access the full benefits of the Omni-Channel program.

Whilst some breach notices may be valid, NANA suggests that regardless of the circumstances, Newsagents should seriously consider lodging an appeal against any breach notice.

NANA has access to the senior staffers at Tabcorp/NSW Lotteries who make decisions about reviewing breach notices and adverse site survey outcomes. The processes to appeal a Tabcorp rating decision may appear onerous, but NANA is available to assist Members to work through the processes and hopefully secure a better outcome. NANA will even pay the costs associated with external mediation through the NSW Small Business Commissioner’s office should it be necessary to go to that extent. This membership benefit alone is a substantial saving for NANA Members.
