The Fair Work Commission has been undertaking a plain English conversion of the General Retail Industry Award 2010. The project has been underway for several years and is in its final stages. NANA has reviewed the most recent FWC decision and draft and has discovered an oversight which if allowed to go through, will increase the cost of employing casuals between 5:00AM and 7:00AM on Saturdays.
NANA has made a submission to the Commission President to address the oversight and we expect this matter will be addressed in the final draft. We will confirm the outcome in coming weeks.
