The NSW government announced a support package earlier in the week which focused on health care support, government fee relief, payroll tax exemptions and infrastructure spending. Whilst any support for the NSW economy is a good result, the measures announced by the NSW government will do little to provide immediate support for Newsagents unless they have substantial payroll tax liabilities.
