NANA recently met with the NSW Small Business Ombudsman. One matter of concern raised by the Ombudsman is the lower than expected number of claims on the Newsagents Assistance Fund. Payments of up to $10,000 are available to qualifying Newsagents who have completed the lotteries retail image upgrade.
NANA is working with the Ombudsman to ensure all eligible Newsagents make claims under the fund.
Any Newsagent who has completed a lotteries retail image upgrade and who hasn’t made a claim on the fund is invited to contact NANA for assistance.
