The General Retail Industry Award 2010 was varied with effect from 1 October 2018 to codify requests from regular casual employees working a consistent set of hours to convert to full or part time employment. The same variation requires employers to advise employees of the new provisions.
Employers are required provide a copy of the new provisions by 1 January 2019. NANA has prepared an extract from the Award which contains all the relevant information and which satisfies the Award requirements. Members are advised to download the document and issue a copy to all casual employees.
